Shop around, old style power clutch set is around $50, new one I would expect to be about the same?!

do you guys have problems with the shocks (especially the pressure cap) of the LD3?? all i can say is they are really hard to build/re-build! pressure cap does not hold and goes into the shocks when tightened.. any tips? will the tc3 shock caps fit (its easier to rebuild associated shocks for me, even if it does not have a bleeder screw)? thanks!

I had a problem with one of mine, when I asked Niki hobbies I was told
"Shock Pressure Top Replace HN E-08 with Kyosho W5017"

The Kyosho ones are great! (and from memory you get 10 caps in the paket )

The LD3 ones are just too soft...

you will get 8 infact and instead !

get those particular for EVO. they are a little bit harder.

Whats the difference between the LD3 Pro and the NTC3? I know both are drive shaft but is there any other differences? This weekend at my local race track the 3 podium winners were all LD3's.

Its time for me to upgrade from the LD3 Pro pipe everyone says has too much pressure (it does seem to be holding the engines back)

What pipe should I get and where from? (rather not USA)

there are a lot! shock towers, shocks, shock springs, arms, diffs (some say the ae ball diffs fit), radio tray, etc.. these are just a few. you could try and read this topic from page 1, i asked questions like yours too.

has too much pressure? what type is it nightmare? is it the one like dtm's in his new champion edition or the ae ntc3 type one? if its the one like dtm's (its the one i have), the local pros tell me that the manifold is too long and this wastes the power of my engine. they recomended the ntc3 type one. ill be getting the ths version of the ntc3 pipe when i have the money already. i think rc-mushroom has the hongnor pipes.

Its the one like DTMS champion edition. I also am saving the $$ for different pipe, just got to find out what pipe and good place to buy from.

Iv'e read in multiple places pipe is too long (engine not rev unless too lean)

EDIT (few hrs later): just took 14mm out of pipe and a bit out of header. Can notice the difference ni rev's. Have to get a new pipe for sure.

how did you trim it? can you post a pic nightmare? anyway, try looking for the THS brand pipes. the maker of this pipe also produces the same pipes for rd logics and other big brand producers and i think its relatively cheaper. pipe and manifold (the one especially for ntc3) costs about $45 here in our lhs. but, rc-mushroom has this pipe similar to what im saying which is made by hong nor

hmm I'll PM you in a re: THS pipe

Here is a photo of what I done, I cut the pipe with hacksaw near weld and near pressure connector then "welded" the pipe back together.

Also cut a little from header to get pipe to sit back in same place.

that is what the THS pipe looks like but its in line.. my mistake, dtm's champions pipe is not like mine.. hehe! my bad.. but there is a problem with my pipe still. i saw the receipts from my purchase and found out the pipe is JPL. sorry for the confusion. you got pm nightmare!

Default fine pitch gear and new centax

This new upgrade in gears is worth the money if you are going
to a larger track because you can gear the car higher. I race
with Steve Nguyen, Chris Verano of Ofna weekly and i can tell that their cars got a lot faster on the back straight and the new
centax seems to work good.
