Default burnt out clutch

I've found the problem. Clutch looked a lil glazed, cleaned it up but that was not the problem. It was the trans, apearently when i changed the 42gear the original was thicker than the relpacement. The lock ring would not hold the new gear as tight so it would cause it to spinon the shaft and not bite on the one way bearing as it should. So I filled in the space w/a small washer that I cut in half w/ the dremel. Whala problem solve.
As for the tank problem broke out the lighter and sealed the cracks back to specks. Did the leak test and it works. 2 points for me on savings coupons ROCK'EM TILL THE WHEELS FALL OFF

Correction: That looks like the CD3 conversion on a LD3 Champ edition, correct? That would explain the tangerine. Looks sick!

I dont do the powdercoat, I meant that I can get someone to powdercoat them. My friend powdercoated some parts on his car, looks great. But he did have to do a little bit of dremeling to get the fit back. The coating will make the part a tad larger due to the coating, but only by about 1-2 mm. I can get the people to powder coat some parts if you send them to me. They charge I think about 20-50 dollars according to size. I will have to check.

DTM, depends on the price..hit me up

I finally got the diff back togther again. What happened was when the screws backed out some time ago, the spider gears spread just a bit and wore a slight notch in the diff case. Therefore, they didn't set properly. So, I replaced the case, gears (just in case) and the washer under one of the drive gears, filled it back up with 100k and everything is nice and smooth again. Now to see how the car really works with the floating mount.

Come on guy's, surely not everyone has bought a CD3 conversion.

Raced today and had a win. I love my LD3. Things have been going well lately.

I do have one question. What ride height do you guys use? I don't knoe whether to go high or low.

depends on the track surface. bumpy should be higher, smooth should be lower.
