Yep, I had the old 12RS hand mod because I use the standard clutch bell. had to hold off on the .8 gears for a little bit, will be my next mod.

Nightmare, I have a question about the servo saver. There are only 2 bearings. Are you supposed to use the bushings too? And which one do I use on which part, there is a flanged type and the normal type.

Thanks, I got my upgrade on hold right now.

Thanks for the support guys ... I've calmed down some since my Monday Rant, lol. Spare parts ... I had "one" of about everything but that doesn't seem to be enough. The aluminum hinge pin holders sound like a good item to pick up. For the moment I'm "punishing" my LD3 by putting it in the closet for a week a so until it learns to behave itself ... well, maybe until I'm not so eager to drop kick it into the next county.

And maybe, just maybe, I need to slow down some til I've got it dialed in.

I think you have that backwards. The tighter the screw is, the later it will shift. It will take more centrifugal force to spread teh shoes to engage second gear. Whereas if the screw is loose, it won't take as much force and it will shift into second faster. Regardless, glad to hear you got it working.

Blaze, just be careful where the car shits and you should be OK. Don't run over it on the next lap LOL

As spenazi said... tighter shifts later, looser shifts earlier.

Sa far as me and my steering servo, don't know how it happened but not sure if I opened the ad and lost them so not going to rant, just be more carefull next time. I got 2 of the four missing bearings from spares I had lying around, but the small bearing are no where and no LHS has them, so bushings go ack in .

I have a car I'm building that I bought on ebay, it has every hop-up, got a STS D3 to put in there . It's almost full option, doesn't have 6 gear diff and only has one sway bar, other than that It's full option. I haven't run w/ sway bars yet but don't know if I want the sway ar up front. Maybe in ack to keep the steering up. I'm putting the 6 gear diff 120 OFNA wght silicone oil up front and leaving 50 wght in back, what do you guys think?

Also doing the same in the RTR, but it has STS RS5port (pre dragon but new) and no sway bars. Was my Sedan, now my outlaw

Man, I don't have 300k, but I think I'll go 120 6 gear diff up front and 120 4 gear diff rear.

I tried 4 gear diff 120k up front and 4 gear 50k rear and rearly liked the fact the car went where I pointed the front tires w/o getting fishtail. Awsome new feeling for me w/ the car, could power out of turns like never before. I give the aove combo a shot. Thanks.

Now, should I leave the sway bar up front or move it back and put harder springs/oil up front? Any guesses . Kind of limited on what I can do. Want to keep the 2 cars as similar as possible so I don't have to adjust to much for each category.
