Default Need Feedback, RE: The Carson Mall

Hey guys, just got off the phone with Cheryl at the South Bay Pavilion At Carson. There is a possibility that we can go back to the mall for a limited number of races. Not to discard the Transit Center but just another track to throw in the mix.

The good news we could go back to the original lot behind J.C. Penny's. Those of us who remember that lot back in the day - smooth, good natural bite, little tire wear, the mall, the food courts, THE NICE BATHROOMS!!

We want to know if any of the racers would be interested in racing there again. There will be contracts and fees this time around and we want to get a rough estimate on interested participants before we make that kind of committment.

Keep in mind that this is a possibility at this point, the administration at the mall has changed and except for Cheryl, they really have no idea of the past events there or R/C car racing. We have to make a pitch to them starting from square 1 and we have to project some numbers, let me know guys!!

I never had the experience racing at the Carson Mall. But I would be interested in racing there. Make it happen Glenn!

What type of contracts and fees? This is a great venue to expose our sport to new blood. The less paperwork, less fees, no membership type would be a great way to entice new victims...I mean new racers.

hey Glen,

i recall that races used to be out in 'front' area then they were in the 'rear' area for awhile that was very succesfull then back to a northern 'front' area (that was bumpier?)

didn't they resurface the carson mall parking lots? but assuming that nothing awful happened, i would be just as happy to go there as the transit center.

i suppose that whichever venue gives you the best terms ie $$ etc would get my vote.

Is there anyone in SoCal that would NOT want another location to race at?
