I'll be ordering 10 sets as soon as they are available!

Will they come in Kyosho style rim? How about a 2mm offset?

Thanks,
Joe

Sweet! I was wondering what the diffrence was between them. I already have a few sets with the pro lite rims! now I know what is diffrent! Awesome tires guys! Keep up the good work.

Capital Classic results

Congrats to Ryan"the Rocket" Rhodes for his second place 1/8 finish on Twister Tires at the Classic. Congrats to Ron Calangi for making the show! Ryan what a way to drive after your dad Randy took a spill right before the race and had to be taken to the hospital. Way to hold it together and take the Podium!

Congrats also goes out to Chris Lebreve for his fourth place finish in Sedan, followed by Jamie Corrado and DJ Apolaro! A very good showing for the new wheels.

I have to add that the new rims worked flawlessly for me at the Capital Classic this past weekend and allowed me to qualify 7th in the Sedan B main (a significant achievement for my level of driving skill :D )! Maybe it was all in my mind, but I seemed to notice an improvement in acceleration when doing back to back runs between the standard rims and the lightweight rims.

Unfortunately I stripped second gear and had to settle for a 9th place finish.

However, the new rims proved themselves to me and several others. ;)

Kevin,

Thanks for all of the hard work and getting the team preped before the Capital Classic. This weekend was a hot one and I mean a HOT one and never once did I have a tire problem. The track temp was around 134 - 140 degrees and the tires never got greasy and tire wear was very minimal. Overall I finished 7th in the 8th scale B-main.

Keep up the great work and thanks again for the support,

Mark

tires were awesome this past weekend, thanks for the great product Kevin....

Ryan_Rhodes 06-09-2008 03:21 PM

Thanks Kevin for the great Twister Tires! I qualified 12th overall at the Classic, and I was able to win the B-main and bump to the A. I finished 2nd in the A-main on one set of Twister Tires 37sh all the way around. I started out on 77 rears and 70 fronts and finished the 45 min main with a decent amount of tire left. Thanks Kevin!

????????????????????????????????

Kevin, the tires are great. Ran the Light Weights and they stood up to some punishment, even with minimal foam on the rim. Thanks for getting them up to us in time. :D

kyosho rims

Sorry Joe I'm away and internet service is hit or miss here. Yes they come in all of our sedan wheels.

occ 06-11-2008 09:39 PM

Have used the ATS version in 10th & 8th for a while now. Very nice tyre, just don't crash. The rim is very fragile.

Of course, maybe I keep crashing too hard...

Dreddlox 06-12-2008 07:16 AM

There is no comparison between the Twister Light weight and the ATS ones you refer to. The ATS version would start freying without any contact. I put the Twisters through the grinder and they stood up to the test.
