Default getting 5 cells into a 4 cell spot

the 5 cell rechargeable batteries that provide 6 volts seem like the better choice but how do you get the 5 cells to fit into the space previously occupied by the 4 battery battery holder????

any suggestions

corvettecrazy;

Simple, replace the 4 cell disposable Batteries and Holder with a rechargable 5 cell Hump Pack.
This is what is generally used to replace 4 cell Battery Holders that come with most RTR Cars.

so the 5 cell pack is small enough to fit in the NMT 4 battery area. well that makes everything very simple.

thank you.

If the Hump pack is too tall for the Battery Box, then a 5 cell Side x Side Pack should fit. Try asking some other NMT owners just to be sure.

i dont know any other NMT owners...and when I make a post just for them no one answers.

there is a space of 3 inches long by 1 1/8 inch tall by 1 inch wide for the batteries to go in.

thanks for the help so far

is this a good pack?

with mere micro mm to spare I think I could squeze this one in with minor modification. I would have to test it at a hobby shop first but I think it is possible.
