Don Jones was running the Serpent 960.

Another very well run race by the Byron team and the Leisure Hours crew.

If you liked the track and the way everything was run, make sure you mark your calendars for the Leisure Hours leg of the Midwest Series, August 23rd and 24th.

Default Byrons

What a Great Time!! The weather, although good, could have been a little better... but thats M'Nature. It was my decision to pit by the fence.. A LOT of great racing action in all classes. As usual, Congrats to all the TQ's and Winners. A big shout out to Scott, Bernie, John, Mike L. and the rest of the LH guys that run a great program every weekend, no matter if it's a world class event or a weekend of racing with the buds.. It was good to meet the powers that run Byrons. And a special THANKS to Jayne Sweeney as Director of Racing for Byrons for all her efforts all weekend. Keep up the great work!!
It's races like this that make me continue in this hobby/sport. This was the best race weekend I had in a LONG time. Definately the best in on-road. I had a BLAST racin Jeff Whiting in the 200mm "B". We were very close through the whole race. Big Props to Matt Collins(Iowa) for pitting for me all weekend.
Looking forward to next year.
Hope to see a bunch of guys at Racine.. (MWS)

Josh, Scotty, Garen, Randy all with Motonica P8.0R 08 (only 1 'n' in Motonica)

I had a great time, wonderful facility, Jayne deserves a big thank you as does the Leisure Hours staff. Hats off to Byron Fuels for sponsoring the race, will be back next year for sure.

Great race! Thanks to those involved in making it happen.

Congrats to Josh taking the double win in 200mm and 1/8th (plus the victory for catching your breathe after being chased twice with champaign). Did Andy and Mike need to layout the tarp in the back for you to lay on (LOL). Congrats to Chicky coming close in the main and taking TQ.

Thanks to my sponsors and the guys that helped with pitwork: Bill McLean, Gary Swayze, and Harry Hananouchi (sorry if spelled wrong) as well as the entire Mugen team.

Leisure Hours is a nice professional facility. For my first time being out there, I was totally impressed. Those that live within a couple hours should feel greatful to have such a facility that caters pretty much every RC racing class. Plus pits with AC, now thats stylin!!!!
