Come on Ted...is the D-main the NEW A-main now..? BTW...A is 1 hour long, top 12 plus the 2 bumps from the B.

I don't really care if we run 5 or 10 minute qualifiers, but all the reasons to run 5 minutes are good reasons in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure that if the majority of guys want 5-minute qualifiers, we'll just need someone to speak up during the driver's meeting and ask to see a show of hands, and I bet they'll change it.

Leisure Hours will defer to Byron's, Byron's won't care and will defer to Mark Sweeney. Sweeney likes 10 minute qualifiers and 1-hour mains, so it might be a hard sell to him. He's got his wife with him at every race as a dedicated pit-person... lucky for him.

The idea for Byron's is to have a fun race though, and if the majority want the shorter qualifiers, I think it would be pretty tough for Sweeney to say 'no'.

I think that the Leisure Hours track and driver's stand are both plenty big for 14 cars, the problem is that at the Byron's race there are one or two super-fast dudes, but such a low turnout that other guys in the A (like me last year) are WAY slower than those guys.

Even though I was qualified 5th or 6th or so last year, I figured that in the 1-hour main I was going to get passed about 150 times. That's the problem. With that much passing, and such big differences in lap times between a guy like Swauger and a guy like, well, me, there are just too many opportunities for a crash.

But as with the 10 minute qualifiers, I don't really care too much what they do. I'll run and I'll have fun.

The 10 minute qualifiers is what attracted me to this race 3 years ago. At of all the races I go to during the year this race is the only one that runs 10 minute quals, that to me is what makes this race challenging and FUN.

Leisure Hours and Byrons buts on a FUN race!

My vote 10 minute quailfiers

Harry

Scott! Real Grubby guy pushing around a shopping cart with all his dirty cloths in it. You know Scott he's always asking for change and a cigarette. He said I had to pay with cash only. I didn't understand why.

Looks like my schedule might open up for this race, but I haven't sent in my entry form. Should I mail it now or just bring on Friday? It doesn't look like 1/10th scale is full up yet.

Hey Brian............you hooked up with a pit guy yet?
