That car is okay to start with. I'm sorry I can't comment on the price, I'm sure others can.
But since it's used and not knowing it's history, I suggest you visit your local hobby shop first and see other Ready to Run cars they may have for you. The benefit of going thru your local hobby shop is that you get support if you encounter difficulties or problems with the product. Granting you may end up spending a bit more money, I believe it's all worth it in the long run.
Good luck and welcome to the world of R/C - they are a lot of fun!

that car is SUPER OLD.
the rs4 rtr was the very first car I ever bought back in 1997..
the price isnt even all that great, even though it has spares on it, or so it seems...
honestly do youself a favor if you're new.
buy a AE NTC3 Plus, or a newer RTR kit, parts are easier to find and that kit is alot more durable (even though I never really broke anything on mine).
if you are new though, you WILL crash, and if there is a part that breaks and they dont have any more, your screwed..
towerhoobies still has rs4 parts, but that particular kit is over 10 years old.

ok, but im just giving you some advice, look for somethign newer for under
$150.
maybe the rs4 rtr 3 evo or even the ntc3 plus on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/HPI-NITRO-GAS-PO...QQcmdZViewItem
im just saying get something newer, I don't run my rs4 anymore because I don't want to crash it and not be able to repair it.
also get something name brand... Hpi, Traxxas, AE, Ofna, etc, you can find their kits cheap used, and you can find parts for them...

I agree with RCrevolution. Find yourself a NTC3 which is still competitive and you can easily get parts for as well as set up information. You can find them on ebay for 150.

email the selelr see if you can get better pics of the front and rear of the car with out a body on, something looks fishey.
he says all sales are final , has spare parts, and doesn't show all of the top of the car with the body off....
but if everything is fine, rake that up its a good price
