If it were me I'd go for the OS because it will be the easiest to tune as someone stated above. In that small truck I honestly believe that either of the motors will be too much power though. The RB will be a complete over kill not to mention the cost. Cheapest over kill would be the Red Dot off road version.

but like i said i need as much power as i can get im trying to race in the truggy class and the reason im asking you guys is i think you guys know more about these motors?

all the motors are on-road motors but are all capable to put in a crt.5

i ment the picco red dot or the picco red dot off road there is two of them.

The JL EVO 3 "Tuned". the engine is hand modified by Eduardo Picco, sleeve has tear drop cuts and Exhaust timing has been changed, the engine comes already shimmed. unlike the other picco which is not modified.

All personal choices.....

The R3 is a Novarossi product, the quality and lifespan of Novarossi products is higher than the Picco so far I have seen.

But do you need a .12 engine? You can always choose the OS 18TZ which I believe is the engine which can make your car fast when the right gearing is used.
