Default Collari XS12

Hey guys I got with the NTC3 setup I bought a few extra engines, one of them happens to be a Collari XS12. I dont know alot about these engines and it actually seems to be locked up. Heres the thing Ive considered rebuilding it but not sure where to get parts or if its even WORTH trying my first rebuild on......what do you guys think?
BTW if anyone is interested I may part with this for a trade or a few bux its just sitting and Im eager to do work.

Don't waist your time, save the money and buy a Red Dot.

Just my opinion.

yeah Ive read that too but it turns out those ones were built by sirio or something and some of them were real colari and others were not.....something about pre 2002 were real deal and picco based and after 2002 those are sirio BOGUS peices. Everything Ive read EVEN the bogus Sirio everyone said was a screamer......this is basically the ofna 7 port as well its kind of confusing when your looking at parts. My thing is I really just like working on stuff but cannot find parts.

If this engine is the XS200, i tried one of these and found that it didn't have much go at all.
Very little torque and slow pickup compared to other engines.
Not the best quality engine.
I heard that L Collari took legal action as they used his name without his permission!

I ran the pre 2002 collari .12 and it was made by picco. The motor was fast but it was hard to tune and broke rods left and right. Don't bother with this motor, 2nd warning.

Default Your motor

If the motor is a Innotech motor then it was manufactured by axe-rossi and you may still be able to get the parts from them. I had the XS700 hotmod version and it was pretty fast in my mrx3. I recently spoke with someone at axe-rossi and he told me that the parts for the XS700 were still available but I don't know how old your motor is. Give them a call if you decide to fix it.

Here's a link to where I bought the engine. These engines were actually ran by Collari before he left Innotech, according to a local guy I know (don't hold me to that..lol.).
