Hi let me know if the mugen clutch bell works there could be to fw05 at ashby
There's already 2 FW05R's at Aldershot, and I've just sold an FW05S to a new racer.

So that's 6 I know of in the UK where the car is not officially released.

Default FW-05R may be going to sale forum

I want to give you guys a heads up. I have had the car for a while but have never run it. No time what so ever. I have been reading this forum often, that is the reason why I got the car. Got a lot of tips from you guys. Anyway, things came up and I will have to sell it. I don't have time to list what is on there but if you email me, I will get you pics and more info. It has a LOT of hop ups. Never ran...period. New everything. I apologize because I know this is the wrong forum for this but I wanted to give you guys a chance before I list elsewhere. Thanks. Email for details at:

Default Springs

I notice that most of the Kyosho pic posted in this forum using Blue springs, like Mugen one. What spring is this? Is it softer of harder? What is the part no for this if it is Kyosho's.

They are Fantom Light Blue springs. They are softer!

Does the FW-05R come with the carbon fiber top deck and a pipe?
Also are there different versions such as a rubber tire car and a foam tire car?

No pipe, but the 31582 kit comes with the carbon fiber top deck, front one-way, lightened chassis, as well as foam tires. 31581A is the rubber tire kit with front diff and regular upper deck and 31581B is the foam tire kit also with front diff and regular upper deck.

There is a new kit out. Code no is: 31582TRT and it comes with front one way, 7075 chasis, carbon upper deck, foam tyres, pipe and OS12 TRP Turbo engine. I've got this kit from Japan.

Default rear, lower arm mounts

Hi,

I am trying to figure out whether to buy the upper & lower position rear-arm mounts.

Does the car normally come with both the upper position and lower position rear-arm mounts? The car kit I purchased was used and it didn't come with any parts except what was on the car.

If the kit doesn't come with both, does it come with the arms in the upper or lower position? I am hoping it is in the lower position already because I can easily shim the blocks up and down as needed to adjust arm height, squat, etc. If it comes in the upper position then it looks like I need to buy the 3racing aluminum lower mounts (or does someone make the blocks in plastic/composit material?).

Thanks,
-Rich

The kit comes with both the upper and lower rear A-arm mounts. you can get the mounts easily and cheap by getting the rear bulk head set. The arms are part of the parts tree.
