I believe so that what he means.

Another question - Is it possible to use 0.1 spur or 0.8 RR evo spur on this kit? I believe the drive shaft is abit smaller in diameter perhaps I could get a correct bearing size. Anybody try before?

Default Suspension mounting

Anybody have a clue what this suspension mounting variety for?
When should we use the high mounting and when we should use the lower one

Use them depending on traction. If you need more traction, you use the lower mounts and vis versa. It is the same principal when you change the rear camber link position but this is a more drastic change.

if u need more traction, wouldn't u use the high mounts?because it would rise the suspension arms and lower the chasis so it could lower the center gravity and giving it more traction in the rear..

Whats the parts you need to use the MTX 0.8 gears for the FW-05? Will they add extra top end?

Cheers

Bundy Bear: The Thunder Tiger starter box you have will not fit the 05R

Ziggy: the 0.8 module crown gear from Kawahara will increase the top end cos the internal ratio will be about 2.7 and not 3 (with 39t crown gear0

i do have a solid axle for my 05R, try it but don't really like the feel of the car, I prefer one-way or diff.

I have heard from an experienced driver that the Kawahara crown gears set works very well, and that the car is much faster

Cool. So the crown gear is 35T then? That would give a FDR of 4.5 with the tallest 2nd gearing and about 6.9 for the highest 1st gear FDR.

Have you tested them out yet?
