Went home for a week and found my old fw-05 r
oh how i miss that car, so much so that i decided to bring it back with me to montreal, the car and engine both have about half a gallon through them so its basically new and stock.

I keep hearing that everyone loves the kyosho pipe, i hated mine, so i got the vantage racing carbon fiber pipe, its pretty sweet!

cant wait to put it on a track!!

Hi, I haven't FW05, but difference is in tooths, if you use 39f and 40r you will have front overdrive and can use smaller front tires. If you have problems with rear tires, use 1 or 2 steps softer tires in front and 1-2mm smaller diameter starting mains. For qualification it is not needed. This is what i do with NTC3. Maybe some of FW05 guys can suggest something different, depends on setup and driving style.

Rear foams will always wear faster than front foams.
With 39f and 40r (or as I ran 37f 38r) you have overdrive to the front, with this overdrive you want to run the front foams 1.5mm smaller than the rear foams, having smaller fronts than rear evens out the wear balance between front and rear keeping the car more stable for longer.

Anyone interested in brand new sealed in box FW-05RR? I bought it and figured there is no on-road nitro track around here to play.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...o-fw-05rr.html

I am not sure how much is one going nowadays. So if anyone knows please let me know how much it is worth. I will consider selling it for reasonable price.

Thanks.
