Had the chance to drive the V1RRR and also tested the 2 degree knuckle on my FW05RR last week. I must say the new knuckles improved the on power steering and allowed you to enter corners at a higher speed. But then again, the V1RRR is still better in terms of agility and cornering speed As for acceleration and top speed, I don't much difference between the two.

Having had both the FW05RR and the V1RRR for a few months now this is what I think. For 80% of the time, the RRR is easier to set up and to drive. It is less sensitive to changes in track condition. On the other hand, the FW05R/RR is VERY sensitive to traction changes and surface conditions as well as set up changes. It is very difficult to get it right. But when there is good traction, the FW is fast, easy to drive, and handles even better than the RRR.

Default 2 FW-05RR for sale, plus an Fw-05R

I have 3 of these that hace never been raced.

The FW-05R is assembled and has a Sirio .12 Pro engine installed.
The engine has 5 tanks through it on a smooth blacktop never over 50% throttle. I am very particular about proper break-in, so rest assured that this engine is on it's way to proper break-in and has not been abused.

I have two FW-05RR with many 3-Racing upgrades.

One is 75% assembled, the other needs assembly. I would like to sell these two together.

Prices are negotiable, but I'm looking for $375 for the single with the sirio, and $600 for the two FW-05RR with MANY upgrades.

I take paypal and have perfect ebay and R/C Tech feedback.

P.S. Sorry for the FS post in this thread, but I figured you guys would be more interested than the people in the FS thread!

I can get photos, but it may take a day or two.

So the RR is a better kit to get then? I am confused because I found two kits with different pricing:

Kyosho (#31583) FW-05RR Chassis Kit USD$369.90
Link

and

Kyosho (#31582) FW-05R Chassis Kit Hop Up edition
Link

The R is more money and is an older version. I even found the RR on rcmushroom for $350.00
Link

Thanks in advance for the help, I want to make sure my money is best spent :-)

I was thinking about an RB v12 for the motor.

Finally, how is the kit to build? Instructions etc...
