Hi all,

I am wondering, what kind of starter box do you guys use to start this car?

Right now, I have a starter box that is designed for 1/8th on road cars (I ran an 1/10th on road before and running an MTX-3 now)

I understand that the configuration for the Fw-05 is very different..so...will my starter box work>? or will I have to buy a new starter box?

thx all

I have one similiar (by XTM) and I think the wheel could be re-arranged. The opening for the wheel is shaped like a T and that is so that the wheel can go the other way. You need to remove the wheel, remove the motor, re-attach the wheel, then rearrange and re-attach the motor.

Thanks for the response

Well, I believe that XTM and OFNA get the starter boxes from the same place, Q-World in Taiwan.

I am going to try switching the motor around..However, last time I checked, the other slot (the top of the "T") is too small for the rubber wheel...

Thanks though

If you re-arrange the starter wheel you can fit the car on. If you reverse the polarity of the motors you can put the car on bak to front. It fits a lot better!

hey guys

does anyone have the following problems...

I am thinking about this car and want to make sure that its good

1. Does this car have noticible torque steer (this is comparing to a belt driven car)

2. With the electronics on the left, since I run on a clockwise track (down the straight the wall is on the left)...

i've always thought of the pipe on my mugen as a barrier...

Are the electronics in a very vulnerable position if I run the car at my local track?

Thx in advance~!

1. I can't tell you--never driven a belt car...

2. What is crash proof anyway?

I do know this, I just got back from HK and this is the hottest 1/10 gas touring car now. This car just beat a field of MTX-3s in the Kyosho Cup in Hong Kong in the open class.

It is good!

1, I haven't noticed any, early on I thought this was the case, but in actual fact it was the front dogbones catching on the out drives at full lock.

2, Makes no difference, just don't crash! LOL!

I don't really think that the electronics are any more vounerable than what they'd be on a standard VoneRR..
