Double post again?? Are you trying to have lots of posts??
The bodys, still the same ones, but don't worry, doesn't matter what body you run, your car will be the same

In comparison of quality and handling, basically which of the 2 would be a preferred choice?

I`m new to this hobby and thinking of getting either 1 of them.

Can anyone advice?

Thanks!

Thanks for your anwser NiMo!

Another question..

well if you want a car this is easy to setup & fast i'd choose the FW-05, it also requires less maintence.
this car also won the worlds warm up race.

as for the V-one-RRR it is a fast car & yes it did win the world championship, it is basically a smaller version of the 1/8th scale car, that is why factory drivers chose this car because they where more familiar with setup.
both car's are topline competition cars. it's just up to you to make the work for you.

I agree with him,its up to you if the belt driven works for u better coz its a diff. Driving when it comes on shaft driven, not to much people drive a shaft driven cars, coz belt is more suited for them, probably its because shaft are aggresive accelaration even on or of power steering, but for me I luv my FW05R.

Thank you guys!

As i am totally new to this hobby, i actuallly have not driven a R/C car before. Would you guys advice me to jump straight to a Pro kit such as FW05R or V one RR / RRR first? Or would u guys advice me to start with a starter kit like Fw05s or V1S || with a pull start engine first?

Getting a little confused.

Thanks again.

Cheers!!

i would suggest you to go with the FW-05R and a cheaper slower engine like the OS MAX .12 TR 3 port.

this car is very easy to maintain and fix (pull apart etc..)
the engine is also very reliable and very easy to tune.

reason why in getting the best first? is because its much better looking for one which means you wont be buying hop ups to make your car look as good and drive good as others.

hope this helps with your choice. of course theres also the money factor what your budget is. if your budget is a sport kit then FW-05S is good also. but if you have the money the FW-05R will be cheaper in the long run.

and you wont expreience the hassles of pullstarting!!!!!!!!!

U can try d fw05r too less maintenance, pretty strong car won't that break that easy anyway its a kyosho, ill suggest get the race/pro kit so that way u got most of the optional parts, and u will need a race car later on u got in to it,and ull learn faster if u got a race car.

I don't want to discourage you from the hobby but it might be too much to go directly to a pro kit. There is a lot to learn especially driving. If you never driven before you might destroy your car pretty quickly if you can get your engine started at all. I know because I had years of electric experience and I had to learn all sort of things for my first nitro car and I couldn't have done it without help. Even then, I still managed to crash and damage my car in the first lap on the track!
