which 2 speed shaft are you using kyosho or hop up?
im using the 3 racing one and its like 3 times lighter than the factory kyosho one.

try light weight clutch bell and light weight 1st gear housing, i cant see your steering plate but if you got the alloy one get the carbon fibre one and get the 4 mm shimo chassis thats lighter than the factory 3 mm chassis i think and much more stronger.

Default Great car

Spent part of the day testing on wednesday at the track and
for the first time running the fw05 it was great.

Suffered a little understeer entering corner and a bit too much
off power exiting corner but driving style I think will help.

Currently running stock pinions and 39 ring gears but need to up the pinions a bit as track is too long for standard gearing.

Very positive day.

Hi!

Has someone compared the 3racing Titanium-Pivots with the ones made by Kyosho? Nimo already said they last quite a long time, but is the finish also smoother than finish of the 3racing ones?

I resold my 3racing titanium-pivots so there's money for reinvesting.

My car ist 1685gr with GS-15R, Standard-Chassis, 5 AAA-Cells, rubber-tires and RR-Conversion. The RR-Conversion saves up about 30gr compared to the plastic radiobox used with the FW-05S.

Do all of you set the rear stabilizer ball to 3mm from the end of the bar? When i am doing so the linkage rod gets in a some kind of ugly position, nearly touching the lower arm.

Best regards,
Robert

I run mine flush with the ends of the bar, easier (and lazyer) to set up.

Wuhoo, got my conversion kits yesterday, took about 5 days to arrive. The sad part is one of the kits is missing (ordered 3). Wondered if the shipment is insured?

Will installed and try out the RR this evening, if it doesnt rain! The new front end looks great together with the carbon fibre upper deck!

Rgds

How are you guys adjusting your two speed? I have an FW05T and there doesn't seem to be any access to the adjusting screws unless I remove the radio tray or the engine.

I drilled out the hole so I could see the screws. It's definitely a pain to adjust. I used to have to take out the whole transmission to adjust it.
