Default Selling my FW-05R

Hi,

I am selling my FW-05R. I didn't get to run a full tank of fuel through it this past summer due to work and it is a waste of a great car for it to sit on the shelf.

it's listed for the V-One RRR.

thanks.
DO NOT GET THIS PART!!!

I ran it today in it's first race meeting, and the alloy got so soft from heat it warped out of shape, so bad is it now the motor will not reach the gearbox.
More money waisted on 3racing crap (and the destroyed pinion/spur gears).

How about the Kyosho part TSW27? Do you think that one will be any better?

Would probably be of a better material, one that doesn't lose it's shape when it gets hot (and this is winter here)

I've always maintained that their parts are suspect except for a few things. I don't have a vandetta on 3R but I've wasted money so I don't like to see others suffer the same way fo no reason. I've heard they're rebranding and I don't know under whose name their parts are marketed but I hope the re-branding goes with better quality too ...

NiMo, I saw your post on 3Hobby about the RR conversion kit.

"* Rubber tire specification, adjusting to specification in the converting from FW-05S, purchase of another part is necessary. "

Any idea what that part might be??

Champ or Pro-Shop Futaba

the easiest way to order is send an email to them.

[email protected]
[email protected]

The part is called Kyosho FW-05RR Conversion Kit.

The prices will be in japanese yen and both of them accept paypal. Paypal will automatically convert. Use XE to see what your price will be.

I have tried the kyosho titanium suspension pins and I must say they are pretty soft and bends easily.

Now I am using kfactory hardened suspension pins and they seem more durable.

Check it out at kfactoryracing.com

Not looks at the FW05S kit, but i think it would be the parts that fix the top deck to the chassis and battery holder as 05S has a plastic box.

Got my conversion kit today
Sent from ProShop Futaba Japan on the 2nd.
Arrive in the UK (England) on the 6th.
That even beats Hong Kong for speed.

Hi!

I am racing the FW-05S in the Kyosho World Cup Expert-class. The kit includes the R-Battery-Holder and the servo-mountings are the same as with the FW-05R. To be honest i have no idea what could be missing except a special screw or something like that.

Got some 3racing-parts today as well. The titanium pillow balls have a very rough surface and will never work as smooth as they should be. Because i have my doubts about the rigity i will sell them i think.
Same for the mid-shaft made from titanium as well.

Beside this the delrin-screws made by 3racing looks quite useful. Compared with the aluminium-ones supplied with the older v-one-kits they are very smooth running.

Also i got the VSW-20 (brake-disc-holder). Very neat looking.

Any further suggestion on the rear hinge pins? Are the kfactory hardened ones better than the stock ones?

For the steel ring gears i am looking for a price below 38 US$, which is already very cheap, i know.

Does someone know a place where i can buy small stuff like screws and nuts (original kyosho ones)? The places overseas i am used to only sell "big" things.

Robert
