Default Advantages

Sorry guys, I missed this.
Any advantage to convert the FW05R to FW05RR ? I checked Josh comment at CEFX but i didn't get any pro cons comparison between the R and RR handling much. Any input guys..

Thank you

Hi guys i was wondering how often do you guys replace your fuel tanks? and fuel line
also guys who are running the RRR rear hubs and foams what rear camber are you guys running? im running +4 degrees seems to give an even tyre wear surface.

also last weekend i decided to change my front and rear bulk heads as the screws that screw on the top deck couldnt be tighten anymore
with the bulk head sets it included the blocks so i changed them to. but with the rear theres 2 sets of blocks
one says H and one says L
is this the rear roll center thingy? if so what does H do and what does L do?
thanks in advance guys and are you guys still running your FW's or have you neglected them for your new 3R's

Use as much camber as necessary to get a slight inward cone on your tires. I am using 3.5 deg.

The H rear arm holder raises the roll center and decreases rear traction. The "L" lowers the roll center for more rear traction. I use the L most of the time so I can get away with less rear toe.

I will be going back to my FW-05R in a little bit since it works so good on high traction days.

I've been doing it wrong for the last 15 months then, I've been running L front and H rear, never had an issue with rear grip, in fact I have too much.

thanks racing4evo, my rear traction is fine at the moment as well but will change the blocks to see the differences, like racing4evo i may get away with less rear toe!

do you guys use much of your TX features like steering punch on different steering stages/curves... if ya know what i mean

do you also have to have the same inward coning effect for the front tyres as well?
also can you use different camber angles for each side? example
4 deg Rear left and 3.5 rear right.
as my left hand side tire always gets the most punishment, most camber use and tire wear. so i always had my left side flat and my right side with a slight inward cone.

RRR rear hubs need a different set up, strange thing is, I can now go from Foam to Rubber to Wets with no set up changes front or rear.
I use -10 on Steering curve, just makes straight line overtaking a little easier (less nervous) and I have steering lock and brake adjusment set in to the 2 dials (KO Esprit II) so they can be adjusted while racing using just one finger without looking.
