It could ve one of two things: 1) The center shaft pins have been flung out at the diff end or 2) You stripped the ring gears( probably if you haven't gone to the steel)

i have the 39T steel ring gears installed

i think it might be the pin.

does anyone know where to get the pin from? cause the only ones i have are for the wheel hexes and they are to long.

Thanks Racing4Evo

Default slipping

I'm not sure of the size of the pin but you could cut one down from the wheel hexes or use an allen key that you have laying around and cut it to size.Usually high tensile steel so strength wont be an issue.

yer i have cut an alen key and thats whats in there atm

but i dont think thats the prob as i checked it and it was still in there

its been happening for the past 2 race meet.

it will run fine then when i get to a corner its just revs and goes nowhere, a martial has to give me a push in order for it to hook up again.

It must be the clutch settings or associated clutch problem then!

Your first gear one way bearing is slipping, the one way runs on a hardened sleeve, use 400 grit or finer wet and dry paper and lightly rub the surface of the sleeve along it's length.

thanks rjl

will that fix the problem? cause i have a spare one way

so the sandpaper should roughen up the sleeve so the one grips better?

Thanks

Hi guys was wondering if any of you guys have used the 3 racing front one way? would you think it would work and last just as good as the genuine kyosho ones?

Hey Brain, I'm not a big 3Racing fan, but I do use some of their "proven" products. And their one-way has lasted over 2 years in my V-one. Kyosho actually private labels some of 3Racings parts. Like the new FW aluminum front shock tower...that's 3Racing.
