I'll try to get the part number soon.
RC-Union has it in stock

While just about the whole Kyosho team is now using the new V-One-RRR, Takuya Ito and Hung Cheung Hang are still using the shaft drive car.

Ito is running the 05RR, not sure about Hang.

(RC Union did not have it 9 months ago when I wanted it, nor did anyone else, but I do recommend the Tobee unit)

haven''t got one of these cars but i have been told they give out a lot of power and are pretty reliable!

Every car has there problems even mine does at times!

i suppose it comes down to how you treat it and how you tune it up!

I did for a while. The car is very easy to drive but it has an on-power push and tuning that out is very hard on the tires. It could work better now that the new RRR parts are out. I'll give it a try again after I fit the RRR hubs and let you know how it compare to the one-way.

Default FW-05RR!

Hi Guys,

I ran a FW-05R about 6 months ago now, back then it was a muct to use the Kawahara front end conversion. I believe this problem has since been fixed?

Also,

Reading back a few pages it appears as though Kyosho are about to release the FW-05RR... any body know what other goodies come in the box yet?

Hey guys just a quick question on engine temps

because the engine on the FW is layed out differently to say a V one RRR will that increase the temperature of the engine?

also when putting an engine in a FW05R do you have to rotate the engine head so that the ventilation ports are facing towards the front of the car?

any help would be appreciated!

Hi, can anyone tell mme what is the ventilation hole or rather where or which part of the head? Been seeing the term around but couldn't figure which part of the head it is. Thank you.
And also, what do you do when the screws on the head are so tight that it cannot be turned?

Ares, look at your engine head with your eyesight parallel to the fins. From the front of the engine you'll see the the center "tube" of the head there are no holes. Now rotate the engine 90%, for example looking at the engine from side with the exhaust hole to your right and the shaft to your left. you should be able to see a large hole between the fins in the center part of the head. Got it?
