Kyosho had said from the very start that they were going to run both a belt and shaft car at the worlds. It's up to each driver to choose which one they prefer.

I think Cyrul went with the 3R since it suits his driving style. He did TQ the Nats with a G4. And he mentioned that he had a hard time finding a setup for the 05R/RR.

Not a bad idea because some drivers are better with shafts naturally. I know I'm useless with shaft. I bought an NTC3 a while back and sold it pretty quickly afterwards because I couldn't drive it to my liking (which was probably why I was blowing the diffs!).

I agree with him there. My skills are no where near Josh Cyrul's skills but my driving style is just hopeless with shaft cars!

NiMo, you are definitely suited to the shaft which is why you are fast.

Guys ... take note. I'm not making fun ... NiMo is fast with his FW05.

I got one of the Turbo II pipes and tested it last night.

WOW!

The pipe is lightyears better than the first version and much better than the stock Kyosho 5.2mm pipe. Power is improverd throughout the rev range and it revs much quicker.

Dennis Richey worked his magic on the pipe and it really shows.

I reccomend that everyone get this pipe. It's a lot cheaper than the Kyosho too.
