Default Shimo chassis vs. 3 Racing

Does anyone have the weight of the Shimo 7075 chassis on hand? I'm looking at the 3 Racing website, where they show thier 7075 chassis at 161g.

Any reason I shoud pay 2x for the Shimo?

I don't know the weight but I can tell you that the Shimo is a much better chassis. For one, the aluminum used for the Shimo chassis is much stronger. It's also chamfered. While it might not be worth, the $104 Tower Hobbies wants, it is worth twice as much as the 3racing chassis. You can find the Shimo for $75 and the 3Racing for $30 at RC Union.

Thanks, I will go with the Shimo. But, after adding $25.00 for shipping to the US from overseas retailers, and subtracting $20.00 from the tower price via special offers (plus free shipping), I'll go with the Tower offer.

Shipping is only 15 dollars and it would take as long as tower's standard shipping. Besides, I choose to spend my money outside of Great Planes as mucha s possible. I'll continue to do so till they get real with their prices.

The two best boxes I have seen yet are the purple mugen one and the x5 box. I have tried alot of them and those work better than any I have seen or used.

My Mugen box was got for the MTX2 I had, the FW05 has to sit across the box.
It has been upgraded with 2x 19T Mod motors to prevent the locking you get with tight motors (nothing worse than having your motor lock when you need to get a good qualifyer)
