Are the internal gears steel or something else (=heavy)?

I haven't open the plastic bag yet. But it looks like the gears are metal. The diff gear is similar to the V1RR.

That might fit, but isn't so straight as the kyosho. But is half the price I guess.....

The RDLogic pipe should fit as it is design for HPI RS4 3 and Mugen MSX 3. Both cars have the similar layout compared to the FW05R.

Great, that means that I can use my TCD gears in there!

yup. TCD will fit. I am getting a set of TCD for my car too. Don't know how well the TCD perfoms though. Any comments on the TCD?

I have used it since new so don't know how it is without, but I have a feeling that it works....

It was expensive tough. Great that it fits the FW-05R too.

Default Kyosho TCD Gear

Hi Manti,

I was wondering if you have any comments on the Kyosho TCD. Is it worth the money to purchase? How does it perform? tks.

the car looks pretty good and RD logics might come out with
products for this car. we have to do some testing on the car
stock and evaluate what will actually help the car be better
and if there is enough interest on this car in North America.

judging from the lay out and considering the suspension geometry
is similar to the v1rr the car should be good.

I have just ordered on of these babies. Dont like the NTC3 much or the OFNA equivilent so I thought I would get one of these and join the "shaft craze"

The TCD gearset is quite nice, gives very good drive out of the corner when installed in the rear without destroying turnin off power.
