That works out the same as the 27 / 45 top gear with the 46 / 17 bevel and ring gear

Cheers

Anyone seen where to get the 23T Pinion gear?
I've just exploded the 3rd Kawahara main shaft cup, and their replacement items don't fit (unless you chop 2mm of it) so I'm looking to fit the 37T diff rings and need the 23T gear to keep close to the 1st gear ratio I'm currently running.

What on earth do you do to those cups?? Me and Jez both run the Kawahara conversion and havent had any trouble with it. Do you tighten it down too much?

The 14 bevel with 37 ring gives you the same gear ratios as the 17 / 45. Is the 14 bevel available yet?

Cheers

Ziggy, good luck this weekend at Tibby.

We're all going to descend upon Brookland, hopefully to have some bright sunny weather as some fun.

I don't think the cups are intended for use on a car that uses a lot of braking (which I do), the backlash just shatters them.

Not sure when Kfactory are going to release the 14t bevel gear, still only showing part number and description on their web site

I've put the 5.4mm restrictor back in the motor now, I can drive faster that way, new gearbox part works a treat.

Take care in Libya and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Hopefully you'll be back before Oct 3rd and join us at AMCC.

Safe trip ...

I have just replaced mine for the first time, worn notches into them but not had a failure.

Zac products come from Kawahara. They make some very good stuff. More expensive than some of the others but of high quality and a little different.
