I checked last night and it will fit OK. The rear of the centre bulk head doesnt clear the flywheel so will need some mods. The front is OK.

The top deck will have to be cut off just past the steering servo. I cant see a way of extending it right to the rear. I could stiffen the back end by putting in a couple of braces from the rear diff housing to the centre section.

I will need to use barrel carbs to get the throttle servo attached. Can you get barrel carbs that will fit an NSR?

Cheers

Jeff- the brake holder looks like 3 Racing.

Ziggy- They don't look custom at all. I'm sure they will be available before the Worlds, through Japan or Hong Kong at least.

Another thing I just noticed is the 2nd gear pinion. 28T most likely.

Default Took awhile

Finally got a HK company to have each part and be able to ship it to me!
Should be here in days!
So next up is the gears. What do you guys suggest for the 2 speed gearing? keep it stock or change gears?
You guys in the USA have this much trouble finding parts?

Keep me posted!

Josh's car has the 28t 2nd gear. The brake holder is a K-Factory as well as the tank mounts, and rear suspension mounts. The front-end parts are new parts from Kyosho, we received them just before the race and they worked very well... not sure when they will be available though. The shock tower and radio tray are different with these new parts.

JBroshche.. I have been really happy with the Sirio engines this year. At the US nationals Josh's Sirio had the most power. For pipe, Kyosho's new 1-piece is working really well, or the 2 piece pipe, part number VSW008 works good. For gearing, 22/51 and 28/45 are what we ran in Toledo last week and seems to have the best balance between top speed and torque.

What ring and bevel gears are you running? Were you running overdrive to the front?

Cheers
