I just ordered the 37t ring gears from RC Union. It was either that or the Kawahara so I got the cheaper alternative. I would've liked to have some overdrive though. I still can't find 23/28 pinions though. Anyone?

Is anyone interested in a 710 very good condition? I have too many cars and I need to make some "financial room" so I can keep up with my Delta XP-4.

I was thinking of trying it this afternoon as I'm not racing today.
I going to change both diffs to 45T before my next race in two weeks.
I'm still waiting for someone to do that central one-way (like on the FW04) but it appears no one is interested, I tried to fit the FW04 one but the dimensions are all wrong by a long way.

Had a club meeting on Saturday and got roasted by my team mate who was running a front diff and so was outbraking me in the turns.

I have fitted the front diff and will try it next week. What diff oil are people running in the front? I am on foams

Cheers

Hi guys may i ask how many droop screws there are on the car? i can only find 2 on the rears (one on each side)
and i think 2 on the fronts hidden inside the bumper assembly *shrugs* tried to look at the manual but only shows them for the rears. also for the rear i unscrewed the droop screw out so that the arm is flush witth the grub screw but still my car doesnt seem to have any effect in the rear.

also has anyone tried the kyosho red springs on these cars? what springs are you guys running?

Default Loose rear

Guys, need some help here. My car is set up as per the manual. Rear using 5-Stars Yellow spring. Running on foam. Keep losing traction on the rear. It looks like its not holding tight enough even for a low speed turn. Any remedy? Thank you.

Droop screws in front are on top in the very front. The screws push down on the sway bar holder.

Make sure you have the rear camber links at the highest angle possible. Also set the camber angle to 4 or even 5 degrees. Toe in is around 2-3 deg

For max stability change the rear hub carriers to MTX-3 and the camber links to V-1-RR

Cheers

I run diff lock when I am running the differential. It does understeer a little bit but the advantage you get from 4 wheel braking all but negates the understeer. If you run on a moderately technical track the solid diff is much better than a one-way

Just got back from track 20 minutes ago.
Tried overdrive with the rubbers, but you cannot come off power when cornering without the front one-way.
Tried foams with front overdrive and no one-way, 3mm difference between front and rear, comfotable push on all corners but no power on push, also braking was good as it put the brake bias to the front wheels.
Tyres were 45 front and 42 rear and the diffs are 10k 4-gear rear, 50k 2-gear front.
I found running this set up the car could not be shaken off line, I'm going to leave this set up on for the next planned meeting on the 22nd.
Slow&Steady eat my dust
