51 / 45. It was 46 but just changd to 21-51 and 26-45 with the centre conversion. I have some small dia tyres i need to use up tomorrow!

I havent checked it on the gearing chart yet for top speed. The engine is still hard to start and sticking TDC so it should free up tomoz

Cheers

Hey which kit are you talking about the standard or hopped up one? also i heard about the steering servo saver needing bearings or something out of the box!

Also it would be a pain in the butt to trade a oneway diff for an open diff with someone from overseas!!!!!!!! true?

Do you guys find it difficult to dial in the FW-05R's? who here drives with a FW-05R on a tight twisty track with no traction? did you guys have a hard time setting up the car perfectly to get your fastest times?

I ran the Kawahara ZT-1 conversion again today, this is the fastest car I've ever had. Won the final by 8 bloody laps. Smallish track, no grip, 35 tyres front and rear, ran out of brakes about 10 minutes in.

Hey Correct me if im wrong but you had a mugen mtx-3 as well before the FW-05R ya?
May i ask what you meant when you said you ran out of brakes 10 mins in. ? like you literally ran out of brakes within 10 mins in the final?
Also how did you find the car without the kawahara conversion? i could never afford that conversion!

The MTX served me well but is now retired. This car gives the impression that it understeers, it just gets to corners faster, I'm able to use brakes hard even though I run a front one way. The brakes faded during the race and I could have used more.

OH!!! may i ask you rjl, have you adapted a new driving style with this car? or is your style of driving the same like when driving with a mtx-3? i assume when you said your brakes fadded it must mean you brake in virtually every corner! also does this car allow you to accelerate mid-way through a corner or do you accelerate once you get out of the corner and having your car point straight?

Also are you looking to fix that brake fad problem?

first change the ring gears to 39T. Kyosho also makes 23/28 pinions (they are purple in color).

You have to use the Mugen 28 and 29t gears and a MTX-3 clutch bell.

Check the pics earlier in this thread

Cheers
