39 ring gear + 45 spur + 27 pinion = 5 FDR

If you need taller FDR you can use the 28T pinion instead.

Can't you find Kyosho parts in Macau? They have tons in Hong Kong and prices are the best.

I buy my parts online from Tower Hobbies:

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=KYOC0479&P=X

or shops in Hong Kong when I visit for business.

It is race worthy out of the box. To make it even stronger, I would get the 3racing aluminum front bulkhead and the 39T steel ring gears from Kyosho.

Well I've just installed a JP FX12 T03 and a 21t pinion, and after 3 tanks of running in I feel it will require the 22t pinion to prevent wheelspin.
Just how much torque does a JP have?
(the STS Dragon could not pull a 21t pinion)
Just back from the track with my FX-05. Ill be fitting the 21/27 pinions as its ridiculously fast! 21 is ok with foams!

Cheers

sorry guys i been reading about 20 pages skipping alot of post just to find a comparison with the FW-05R kit and the FW-05R hopped up version kit.
May i know what the hopped up kit has for extras? so far i've learnt that it has the front one way (which i dont need) and foam tyres.
I am 80% sure im gonna get this car!!! as i need a different driving style! compared to belts!
