Its RC car Action's Touring Car edition. The one that shows FW in a MG body at the front page. The date shows Fall 2004.

Jesus H Christ!!!!!!

How much low end power does this thing put out!!

I used the RR12L5 and it had so much low end torque but had to gear up as it ran out of puff at the top of the rev range. The JP has MORE torque and continues up until the last few revs! and it isnt fully run in and i'm only using 16% nitro!!

The 7mm exhaust helps!

Yo Ziggy! is that the 3 or 5 port ? (looks like a 5 to me by the head markings).

And how many pennies?

I've been eyeing one up but at €370 (about £260) I've been holding back, but I do need to replace this STS Dragon S3 as it is way down on straight line power to the JB V12 and NS12S3, and it's getting hard work re-passing in the infield.

Its the 5 port with the ceramic bearing and hardened crank. price is about right. Where you getting it from?

Cheers

I ordered it tonight, a 3 port, £258 inc postage.

I need to get it running for the National at Aldershot on the 25th, and what a day that will be, I'm running race control and racing, thankfully the RC-Timing software is very user friendly and that 8 minutes is no problem with this car so fuel top up not needed.

It has a highly modified crank. Is it legal for BRCA rubber events? The turbo scoop cant undercut the crank hole. On the T05 it cuts right into the hole.

If its like the Novarossi then it should be ok

Cheers

I had a great day of testing yesterday. And finally have the car handling almost perfectly! I have gone from fighting the massive understeer to a slight oversteer (which for me is much more drivable and faster). Bad news on my idm though my pit guy made a jerky hsn adjustment and skyrocketed the engine temps and the plug exploded before i got back to the pits....it fowled my brand new engine..... It as at my friends shop getting the debris polished out but damn it was fast while it lasted..... he says it will be 100% ok but im still pissed. Luckily i had my os tr t polished, ported and balanced, and it was ready to back me up and ill be damned if it isnt alsmost as fast.

thanks to everyone that helped me with the setup!
