I've got one of those F1 cars, it's in a box in bits at the moment, I put the motor from an old SuperTen FW03 in mine.
I also have an unbuilt Toyota GT-One which runs on the same chassis.

The mugen rear end makes a real difference and the camber links from the RR take out a lot of the slop.

Not got the Mugen rear but fitted the RR links, and found even more rear grip but also more understeer

Well I finally had a full day at my track to test the changes and new setup on my car. (i was fighting the turn in understeer) Here is what i did to try and fix it (recomended by great folks on this site)
flat front sway bar
black long spring front
gold long spring back
0 front droop
4 mm rear droop
reset rear sway bar
front suspension layed down( tried standing the shocks up but the understeer got worse)
after a massive testing session on different tires and shore with the understeer still there I finally tried a slight rear brake drag. What a difference! It drives where i want it to now!
After all that messing around fixxing the problem was as simple as adjusting the brakes a tiny bit.......Rear brake drag was the way to go! This car just roll too freely without a slight brake drag. I realized this when i ran out of fuel halfway down the back straight and coasted around 4 corners and all the way into my pits.
Anyway thanks for eveyones help!

My os tr te was still underpowered so i bought a new novarossi IDM 3 port has anyone tried this engine yet?

The FW05R that I'm getting is the rubber tire version I believe becaue it comes with a front diff. Does that sound right to you? It also comes with the upgraded Shimo Chassis and Carbon Fibre Upper deck plate. What I was wondering is there any difference between the rubber tire cars and the foam tire cars besides the fact that the foam tire cars come with a one-way? I was wondering if there is anything I have to do to run foams on my car? I don't think so but somebody told me I would have to change driveshafts? That didn't sound right to me so I thought I would ask the experts.

I was also reading on the Radio Control forums that guys were saying that the gears inside and outside the diffs are very soft? Did Kyosho ever come up with some harder gears so that they last some time?

The foam version has a 2mm spacer on the rear wheel shafts so that 30mm tyres do not rub against the upright, if you use rims with offset such as Fast, Kawahara ZB rims or Active 2mm offset rims you wil have no problems but the doggies might bind if you narrow the rear. Kyosho make shorter rear dog bones if you find this happening.

DAMN! Where do you see the part number for the spacers in that mess? Also I here that the stock pivot ball retainers are junk because there almost completely flat where it touches the pivoy ball. They say to run the Delrin retianers, anyone got part numbers for these items? Sorry for all the questions guys, I just want all my eggs in one basket before I go and start assembling my new beast! I do appreciate all the helpful input.
