Just a heads up guys......no time for two cars....will be selling my hardly used fw05 foam tire kit, just as soon as I can take pics tomorrow. Car has lots of hop-ups already and will come with two slightly used KO servos. E-Mail me @ [email protected] if interested.

Hi guys... im still fighting my off power turn in /push. Does the optional ackerman help this problem? I will race this weekend without the front stabilizer. Any more tips on getting this turn in problem fixxed would be really appreciated. Im a little confused with the above discussion of on power turn in vrs off power turn in. Im new to this car so please go easy on me. Other than that I love this car and on everyother aspect of the track it is great. Thank you.

Try these (in order):

1. a lighter rear diff oil (I use 20k)
2. stand up your front shocks by one position
3. more rear droop
4. less front caster angle

That's cool. I think what I said still applies. you will certainly see a difference if you go down to a 10k diff oil. however, the flip side is that a thinner diff in the rear will take away exit corner (on power) steering. If you do not want to change the diff oil or take the diff apart, try standing up your front shocks first, you will see a big difference.

By the way, why do you have the gold spring in front and black in the rear? The kit setting is the other way around.

Default Servo Horn

Guys, should i use shorter servo horn as to get quick turning respond? My current servo horn is abit long by thinking to have further turning radius.. I believe this is wrong on setting the servo horn. Any tips on what to consider in determine the length of servo horn attachment should we use?

Swap the springs around. Gold on the back, Black on the front

Gold hard
Black Medium
Silver soft

Back are softer than front

Also look on the parts list that you get with the kit. It lists all the optional springs and their rates

Cheers

i use the 'Q power" alu servo horn...the instructions give you the exact measurement..use it!
see the kyosho japan web site and download the evolva instruction manual and have a look...it gives you most springs

Thanks for the prompt reply. Any idea how the 3 springs compare with the Fantom springs?
