Mine is only 1735g with new foam tire;new body;AMBrc...everything but no fuel.
Are you using the steel ring gears? If not, that saves quite a bit of weight.

My car also has the aluminum 3Racing front bulkhead, center bulkhead, and rear suspension holder. All that adds to the weight as well.

Hi Ziggy,

Thanks. You are a great help as usual.

Couple more questions:

1) I did find some references to the Mugen gears but they are for "fine mesh"? I don't know if that will work?

2) Part numbers. Would you happen to know the Mugen part numbers for the gears and the end-bell? Will from RC-union is trying to locate the gears for me. Great service! If you don't have the info (or it is a pain to find them, no biggie) .

I got mine from RC online

Well, I have KO 2343 and 2344, but with 2/3C 5 cell pack, some Ti screws and without the front conversion, so there is your 100g saving.

Have you run your car yet?

[email protected][email protected]@210 front top hinge pins..(you could make your own...)

this how much you should be paying for the part..any more and your getting screwed..

Hi

I was trying to find where I ordered it from but cant rememeber. I'll troll through my mails and see if I can find it.

The MTX has the 1 and 0.8 module gears (fine mesh) Its the fine mesh ones you want. These are usually listed as a hop up

You only need the bell and the 28t and 29t gear.

Here is a pic of it

If you are getting the full conversion then you will not need the Mugen gears.
I used to run 27/45 at my track but now with the Kawahara diffs I run 25/46 and get no where near max revs, but boy is it quick, even with a 21/51 1st gear I can out drag many out of the corners (be even better without the push).

Does the full Kawahara conversion include the centre conversion? I dont think so. Its just the chassis and decks to move the engine over to the left

Cheers

Full conversion is the lot:
Chassis, centre, front and rear conversions, and that other little conversion that I have yet to work out (something to do with steering i think)
