All it would take is a oneway bearing in the brake disc holder, then you would have a oneway and 4 wheel braking.

But the rules for the IC Worlds says 'rear wheel braking only' so I doubt Kyosho would ever make one.

i imagine that it would be a front gear diff with rear brake only

Kyosho made a thing called a viscous coupling for the fw04, it was on the front drive shaft.

I think so, I've never seen one apart from in the Kyosho catalogue.

slightly yes,... but it works more like full scale Nissan Skyline GTR's front diff,... you'll only get 4WD when on higher load, rev it lightly and you'll get RWD feel.. I think the concept of it for 1/10 rc has been abandoned by kyosho as it's not that effective in real life and made the car a bit unpredictable, in contrary a front oneway unit is more predictable as it's more like an on/off switch (with miliseconds lag),.. suits the scale better.

I thought my car has the center one-way...the 2 speed holder has an one-way inside.

I use the one way so should be OK. I'll take a day down the track and try both to see how it handles

Cheers

Yes, but the car can roll forward independent of the first gear spur (but not backwards) just like an one-way.

Ziggy-

You have it backwards. The one way is there to let 1st gear coast when 2nd gear is engaged.

Racing4Evo, have you had a chance to try your new pipe and manifold?

Yes, but nothing surprising. I've ran the car with the Kyosho pipe before. If you've driven or seen a 710 down the straight then you know how much the FW-05R lack on the top end. Next thing I'm doing is putting in the mugen 28t pinion.

Unfortunately, I somehow blew one of the outside rear bearings on the car. This will put me out for a little bit. I'm so anxious to get the V-One RRR, that will be so much better for me.
