so, will a 6.0 dia do? or should i just stick with the 5.2?

thanks again.
I think the 6.0 is suppose to give you a bit more top end and mid range. However, I find the 5.2 has plenty top end and overall seems more responsive.

Hey Jeffery, did you see Jeffery's(the Ofna driver) pipe? It is the same as the RD Logic and his car was killing me on the straight in qualifying. So....it can't be the pipe's fault entirely. I agree, the pipe is a major factor but this is ludicrous.

Marcos, I'll be looking out for that purple bomb at FT. I have been watching this forum because of my interest in the FW05R. I am looking forward to see how it performs

I know what you are saying, but there are so many factors that determine how an engine will perform. But drive ratio is mathmatical. when gearings are equal, one car will have as much top end as the other, unless the engine is not performing properly or there is some binding in the drivetrain that's eating away the engine's power. I doubt that your drivetrain is the problem so that leaves the engine power. Thus far, everyone who has been complaining about the top end seems to be running the RD Logic pipe or the same pipe with a different brand. I don't recall anyone running the Kyosho pipe having this issue.

You saw my car running last Sunday. I am not a good driver but the car is certainly fast enough. Not only was I running stock gears (except the 39T ring gear), I was also only running 20% nitro.

If you want, I will take the pipe and manifold off my car and you can try them on your car. See if you can feel the difference.

Default Kawahara Front end conversion

What are the parts listed in this package? I m temted to buy one but not sure if this front conversion can be directly bolt on to my stock upper deck. Or do I need to buy the whole center conversion as well?

Anyone seen or heard of the existence of a FW05RR EVO?
Reason i'm asking is i'm looking into the FW05R. But my local kyosho agent says there is a RR Evo version. Couldn't find it on the net though. Anyone? Thanx.

guy, you are way too fast ....

Kyosho will go for FW05RR before FW05RR Evo, and the following step is FW15R (05 x 3 R) ....

In fact, I can do some cut and paste to make a FW05RR Evo sticker tho ....

I think the guy is trying to sell you a VOne RR Evo. There is no FW-05RR Evo.

Hi Jeffrey,

I knew you are another Jeffrey Lin one years ago because I had made sure with another Jeffrey Lin before....

I got my kit already but spend many days still can't assemble finish.... Maybe I'm too fastidious....

Don't forget to PM me before you back home.

Dino

i agree with jeff. i have the rd logic and jpl pipes and could not get good top end with it. these are one piece pipes and the manifold seems too long. as you would expect, it had great low end. i am now using an os 1031 with the stock kyosho manifold and the top end came alive on both my ns12s3a1 and nsr12s5.
