HPI R40 Nitro Car Forum
I just looked at the Hara's setup sheet for the 2004 nationals and its a pretty extreme steup. The track has to be really smooth and really sticky for it to work that way. What kind of track do you run at? Look back a page or two and you can check out my rubber tire setup for parking lots.
im gonna be running mine on a pretty smooth ashphalt surface as well, with sugar water??? im assuming its pretty sticky and smooth.....????

You're talking about the adjustable rear swaybar for the R40, made by HPI. That's a really good question. Anyone have info. on it?

3RACING and HPI both made that part. You might check RC champ since the HPI part was only released in asia markets. Ebay has them from time to time as well. Try emailing AI. He might have one left in his bag of tricks. I have one, but don't want to part with it.

Are these HPI threaded competition shocks heavier than the stock plastic shocks?
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLMD7&P=7
My ride is currently overweight (over 1800g with a Stratus body) and I do not want to add any more weight. I already have the super chassis, light weight shafts, light weight 2-speed, graphite towers, light weight battery pack, and no battery box.
Are these shocks a worthwhile upgrade?
