hi AMG....I asked that same question of HPI........He just did it to tune the car to his liking..

Those bottom plates come with the rear swaybar kit.....

HPI is working on this car,and people will see a few evolutionary changes as time goes on......

I thought those bottom plates came with the rear graphtie shock tower, not the sway bar.

I'm sure someone will, HPI or 3 Racing or some other company.

Harry, the small graphite plates come with the shock tower to move the bottoms of the shocks up and out. The new arms for the R40 include different sway bar mounting points as a running change to the molds. They just affect the sway bar different for a different feel, another option to use.

Nice to see small changes like that being done as the car develops.

Yup, no bomb threats on my plane at least.

Settling in very well, beer is better (but they sell Coors and Bud here, yech!), cars are smaller, food/gas/housing/etc. is more expensive, weather is at least better than it is for you right now in New Jersey (I have to say NEW Jersey now instead of just Jersey cuz there's an actual Jersey here) but not as nice as Southern California. At least buying from overseas will be cheaper (just take longer) - Ł1 is about $1.80 right now.

Alright I am thinking of trying one of these cars.

A few questions:

1. I have heard that the plastics are not fantastic. Anybody with some runtime on their car can tell me how it is holding up? This is one thing I did not like about the Factory Team TC3, the car flogs out very quickly.

2. What hopups will I "need"? I am in the asian region so my car already comes with a one-way and alloy shocks.

3. Any weak points of the car? Be honest I just wanna know to assess how to address these issues, no blind brand loaylty please
