i think your supposed to hold the trigger on thetransmiitter in the position you want it to failsafe, and continue holding until the trans light stops blinking....

Before I could make it into flashing mode.

That plug in the picture. Says bind plug. You plug it into the RX in the slot shown , turn it on and it binds. Then remove it before you power down and power back up and your ready to go.

Also one thing I also try a lot is to search up product websites. Most of them contain the product manuals online.

Gentlemen I need some advice , help when cleaning my R-40 the other day when I got to the two speed tranny I noticed that the clutch shoes for the tranny were so big that they were stuck in the drum I sanded just enough material from the shoes so they would rotate in the drum . I didnt mess up by doing this did I?? When I have been running it I noticed I did not hear it shift.

You should make sure the gap between the two speed shoe is a small hair line gap to which sun can barely get through.

If it still rubs its ok to sand it some. With light grit sandpaper. Like 600grit.

don't sand the shoe......you'll never get it even....sand the outer edges..thats where the high spots are....

yes.....it requires a fine eye and touch to get that gap right between the shoes.....but when you finally get it,it stays perfect...in all honesty,I put the .08 speed in my car 3 years ago.....been through 5 gallons or more, never even touched it when I converted the car to a hara....and it still shifts fine...

That was the problem took it out and ran it during my lunch break. I am glad I have those Calandra 35mm wides on the back they give me enough traction I was able to punch it in first. The R-40 is really ballistic in 1st gear with the .18 tz . thanks for your help guys!!

Xray isn't unique with the way they police there forums. I think all of the other MFG's that have an open forum did or do the very same thing. It's really there right to do so. I am NOT advocating what they do, just pointing out that they can do what they want with there own site. The ONLY company that had a completely open forum used to be HPI. When they had to shut down there forum, most of the people came over to RC tech.
