Yeah the august date was told to me by an hpi rep. They said pretty much the next month after the hara pro4.

Im guessing its delayed, has the 2005 shown up anywhere yet? Cause im sure soon after the hara will come.

I was kind of surprised that the HPI rep gave you a date. They are usually pretty tight lipped about release dates for this very reason. I still remember the flaming and whining that went on in the old HPI forums when the racer2 finally hit the shops. It was after that incident that HPI put the clamps down on any "possible" release date for new kits. If we can all stay calm and be paitent like we are doing now, maybe we can coax some more information out of HPI. I'm sure that the problem is manufacturing related.

Has anyone tried to repair a knuckle with a little stress crack near the pivot balls? I CA'ed it today but I don't know if it will hold. I know that not crashing is the best solution, but is there another solution to this problem?

The CA won't hold. Too much leverage on that part of the knuckles. Hey, for $9 you get both knuckles, the front bulkhead the diff cover and the front sway bar mounts. Not such a bad thing. Try paying that for just ONE knuckle. Thats just one of the reasons I switched from Serpent

Well it was only a few months ago. And the hara version also came out soon after as he stated the time frame it would. Then said the hara r40 would be out after that. I doubt it was a bad choice for him to state that.

If its off by a month or two thats not too bad either way. I can wait, and it seems everyone else is cause I cant find the 2005 anywhere.

BAD ASS!!! I've been wanting to get the spectrum system, but I'm afraid if it's going to work with my kopropo radio. It's the mars radio, the one before the x1, so I don't know if it'll work.

Default HARA edition???

Hi Guys,
HARA edition??? What is different in the R40 HARA edition?

Can we expect to be able to buy it in north america
or will it only be available from asian mail-order stores like the 2004 edition?

Thanks!

The hara edition will be the version available in the US. Its a more current platform and will include some hop-ups.

The 2005 edition will be available in asia.
