R40=tons of steering out of the box. Try a softer rear; straiten up shocks and maybe softer rear tires.

Its got a solid chassis, no battery slot, relocated gas tank and a different upper deck. Not sure all the other things that go with it. But along with the 2005 they were showing titanium pivot balls and other option parts.

Its hard to tell what exactly was done, but we will find out sooner than later.

Thank you

i wouldnt load cause its a flash site. it has the same address for basically all the pages but its its all one big file...Pretty neat huh? thats y go to the home page even when u compy the url from another at that site. i think that guide on hpi was pretty good. But a simple version... the more vertical ur shocks are the harder they are. THe more layed down they are the softer they are.

for the front - more vertical gives you more steering going into the corner and less coming out. less vertical gives you less steering coming into the corner but more coming out.

I have to check on the rear...brain freeze can't remember.

Yeah I already sold it. I want to get into 1/8th scale and I don't run the R40 much.

Would laying the shocks all the way down and cutting the shock towers allow me to run Lola type bodies without cutting holes in the body?

Also, when is the Hara edition going to hit stores? Any word on the price? HPI could just release an upgrade kit like their Stage D thing. I am looking into getting one of these to back up my full option GT-4.
