What is part 73480 - 4 on this page of the manual:

http://www.hpiracing.com/graphics/in...0/R40-P29o.jpg

This plastic part behind the radio switch sticks out the side of the car and it appears that nothing mounts to it. There is very little room in this car for the wiring. I've got no place to put my excess servo and battery wiring.

This page of the manual says to bend the brake linkage to clear the exhaust pipe:

The exhaust is on the other side of the car???

That HPI page says that changing the upper camber link position changes the roll center. AMGRacer - are you saying that raising the lower hingepin does the same thing?

Thanks.
Yes and yes. Raising the lower pin raises the roll centre.

73480 - 4 is a transponder mount.

They were on drugs when they wrote about bending the linkage. You bend the linkage so it runs horizontal to prevent binding, not to clear the exhaust.

There is plenty of room for the wiring if you work with it for a bit. What specifically are you having trouble with?

If you notice just inside the receiver battery compartment at the side there is a small recess that is just about big enough to pop the battery connector and the extra wire to the switch. My ko pro receiver is pretty damn small so i packed the extra servo wire in the receiver comp.
There's space available but like AMG said you have to find it.

I think my wiring problem was caused by me working on the car until after 2 AM!! I was tired and my vision was getting blurry. I took another look at it this morning with a fresh head and I was able to run the wiring without too much of a problem.

I had bearing failure probs until I switched the shims to the flanged side of the clutch screw and let the inside thrust washer hit the flange of the bearing. This way the thrust bearing takes all of the axial load. If assembled per the manual the inner race of the outer bearing takes axial thrust load which is what kills it since it isn't designed for that. I'm on my same outer bearing since early last summer when I made this change.

I know Joe has a mugen and a R40. So im sure it would fit these nicely. Thing looks sweet. I like how CVEC always makes it so you can take them apart.
