Default 3Racing Hex hubs

Hey guys,

I finally got some 3Racing parts and they are pretty good but I have a problem with the wheel adaprors (hex hubs). I have in/out play (about 1mm) of the wheels because the adaptors do not fit over the pins entirely. Does this affect handling: which I think it does and if so how can I fix the problem? I was thinking of washers

Thanx

You can add some washers behind the pin... I even did that with the regular black ones cause otherwise you'll kill the bearings (eventually).

I placed an order with Tower for light weight 2 speed and mid shafts. I also got the green second pinion. This thing should fly now.
We're in the same area but I don't think I met you. Anyway if you ordered the light weight 2 speed don't order the coloured pinions the don't work together. If you are keeping the standard 2 speed let me know I have the full set of pinions and spurs at a good deal

Hey Andy,
I race up at PLRC in Mississauga every other Sunday...

I was looking into getting the lightweight 2-speed but decided against it at the last second. But I did purchase the lightweird 2-speed shaft and midshaft

I work on the weekends as well and only made arrangements to get every other Sunday off for PLRC... This weekend is the last weekend I'm working though so I hope to check out Fastcats.

I run both nitro and electric at PLRC. Did you go to last week's race? I took off after the qualifiers, too cold for me.

Some people took off from PLRC and went to Fast Cats in the morning (i.e. Derek).

I wasn't prepared for the cold whether and wore shorts and a t-shirt.

How do you like the Fast Cats track?

The FastCats facility is first class. The outdoor track is about 30' longer than PLRC but is 10' narrower. New pavement, lots of traction and you can pit inside or outside. Check out www.fastcats.ca or drop in anytime. Thats the other advantage, you don't have to wait for every other Sunday to race

Harry I am a subscriber. I'm just thinking about defecting because r40 parts are sparse locally so at the track I can't really push the car like I want to because in the back of my mind I'm thinking If I break something I'm goning to have to wait at least 3 days for parts.
