I checked the weight of my car and with everything (minus fuel) it is a hefty 2025 grams.

Ditch the stock 2speed and pinions for the LW .8 module 2speed (comes with pinions) and get both LW shafts. That will take a bit off the car and you will definately notice speed.

Hmm...been wondering if I should've just gotten a bunch of LW and spare parts for the R40 instead of the 8th onroad since I've found a few real cars I'm lookin at. HMm.....nah.

No doubt that HDPE bumper you made is adding 50 - 70 grams. The one I made weights in around 35 grams. The stock set-up is around 30 grams if I remember correctly.

P-Dub Racing makes a wide light-weight foam bumper that does a good job of protecting the front-end .... http://www.pdubracing.com/products.htm

I made that bumper so that it would protect the tires and hubs while cornering.

I think the bumper is about 200 grams since it is very heavy and thick.

What kind of foam are the pdub ones made of? Are they very flexible?

No I'm looking for the conversion kit with all the goodies It comes out cheaper than buying the hopups alone.

Anyone done business with these peeps b4?

Thanks for your help Artificial-I, In the uk we run an outlaw class that allows you to run any .12 motor, no limits.
This is the newly made track I will be racing on mostly.

Cheers

I just placed my first order with them... What I didn't like was all the service charges and stuff. Very misleading.
