Harry I don't know if this is the one you use, but it looks like a hump, will it fit under the gas tank or do I have to modify it in order to get it in there???

I run the hump pack as shown(it fits fine)..trinity also make same same pack in brick style.. and they show that one to be slightly lower.....(which doesn't make sense since a battery sitting in the ridge of 2 others will be lower than 2 stacked).....I actuallt bought both packs just to see if they were wrong...of course, they were.....

anyway, what I did was wrap it in a balloon, and shoo glued the ballooned pack to the battery door......then tapped in some slightly larger screws to hold the door to the chassis(since the cover originally held the screws)

here's what you guys really need....

HPI WEIGHT CHECKER 39013
This high-precision scale can weight things up to 2kg by the gram so that you can weigh all kinds of RC parts from tiny screws to 1/10 machine. The scale has stylish chrome coating with a control panel with carbon print

I got mine from jet hobbies......

see?..

I read somewhere back in this therad about a 2004 conversion for the r40 that included pretty much all the hopups one would need. Did this ever hit the shelves and if so where can i get my hands on it?

Thanks

NSX- I took it off, so you could see all the upper deck, it is mounted ontop of the steering servo, inside a balloon with a tie strap around it... that's about it, I'll post some pictures later ok

Frankly I dont know. I dunno why my car is light, I just built the 2004 spec as I have said. I cant think of what would be making it any lighter............. I do know that the HPI battery pack is MUCH lighter than others like it, mine weighs 42g. I still use the battery box, and I have a spektrum receiver.

Oh I just thought of something, I use Futaba 9550 servos as well, I am fairly sure these are 10-20g lighter than other servos as well.
