OK cool yep. That wing is better but still WAY behind more modern bodies. Its not the only cause of a lack of rear grip clearly, but the more modern bodies from Team Blitz and Protoform are producing far more downforce and basically make your car faster.

So what are we going to call these versions on the forums?

I was thinking about this last night and im guessing we should call the R40 and R40 2004 Editions the R40 V1 and the new 2005/Hara the V2.

Pretty simple. But it does seem the 2005/Hara is quite a change from the 04/Original US version.

The 2005 edition actually may have less hopups than the 2004, gotta see yet. It definately is missing the titanium screws.

That's the rumor, but you never know with Japan. That whole "JDM" market.

The solid engine mount (non heatsink style)? Or are you talking about those full one piece engine mounts that connect both sides?

We are getting a "HARA" version in the US. I heard from the HPI Rep it will be better than the 2004? I might have heard wrong.

He said it will come out shortly after the pro4 hara edition comes out. Which will be out next month, by what he said.

ME like one piece mounts. Easier to set engine in place.

If history serves me well, HPI's release of Updated KITS are way better in Japan and when and if they decide to make them available here in the US, we get them way too late when we have already invested time and energy on our current set ups etc.

I will take a wild guess that this new HARA 05 edition will be here in the US by August. When then it should be called the new 06 Kit.

It's definitely a positive move they're doing here.
