Yep, I got it. Seems pretty quick for the .15FE. Reminds me of the old days.

The bottom end of the MT12 in no way comes close to this engine. A good firm tap on the throttle sends it 10ft+ easily. What I also like about it, is that it's not even maximum power yet and it is flat out fast! I still need to get diff fluid for the rear. What diff fluid are you and other guys running for the rear? Did you install the rear axle instead?
I'm using 30000 with the 4 gears in the rear. I only filled the diff 1/2 full though.

Sounds good. I'll pick up the one way and try the 4 gear mod with 30k fuel. Maybe those Savage gears will do the trick. Not gonna buy a whole new diff.

If you are talking about the black washer that goes before the collet, then yes it does have to on to get proper engagement. Then use 3-4 shims staggered. So sliver bronze sliver or all four or whatever. "Sabotuer" on another board said that the Novas are the same and he has silver bronze silver. So try that.

YEp. Exactly what I did. I took the black washer from my MT12 an threw it onto the Rody engine. Then, I put the collet on, the clutch assembly, and actually I used ALL of the 6 washers in the pattern silver/bronze/silver/bronze, etc. Clutch bell should move a tiny bit when you tug it outward. Also, the stock setting for the adjuster nut works pretty well with it.

Klander-Heard some feedback on people running the OS .12TZ and it's in close competition with the other modded engines. Probably when it comes out you should get it and try it.

Well the material is stronger, and it has lots of HP, but it doesn't have the speed of a Novarossi or RB. If its one of them HUGE tracks, Nova or anything else would be a better choice. If it's smaller than the OS would be great.

Klanderman,

I do not know if you read my previous post or PM, but what Lola body is that and where did you get it?

I've been E-mailing GasRCCar about the Kawahara Lola body, but never get a response.
