Default let it begin

R40 hop-ups from Integy.

enjoy

http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...42103617106.1e

from the looks of it, I think they got the pictures reversed for the shock towers. and the side brace...a receiver mount?

only thing I think I might get would be the swiss cheese chassis

I've had the light-weight shafts on my car for about a week now. I think they're made of the same material as the stock ones (steel), just hollowed with a ground finish.

Yep, lighter rotating mass!

I just wish I could get it somewhere locally or at least order them from somewhere within the states?

Just got back from the HPI Worlds. It was awesome. The track was a great layout and the facility overall was great.

The R40 performed fantastic. I was running my NS5 flat out. The car wacked the boards several times and held up well.

I made the A main, qualified 9th. Got up to 3rd quickly and stayed there until 26 and 1/2 minutes thru the 30 minute main, when ouch, i made a mistake and broke the front knuckle. Major bummer for me, had nearly a 2 lap lead on 4th place with 3 1/2 minutes to go and I made a costly mistake.

Wound up 7th, the race director made me come off the track because I lost a wheel, even though the car was still driveable - sledding.

Finished 5th in the A main in Super Nitro too.

Overall I am really, really happy with my R40 now, its an easy car to work on, holds up great and was easy to drive. I had no problems finding the right setup either.

Darn, I tried calling them and was told they didn't have any in. With only 5 more weeks of racing left, I would love to get those parts on my car before next weeks race.

Trekys not doing justice to his own race report.....

He was absolutely giving everybody everything they could handle....He's always had a edge on me in driving..this time it wasn't even close.......Myself and Todd Marshall pitted for him(we had him gassed and GONE in under 5 seconds)......

The car ran great...And all treky needed was a little racing luck...but that didn't happen.....

but I'll tell you what...it will next year..

So who won the challenge? (nitro touring class).

I wouldn't be suprised if it was some guy by the name of Mike Collins.
