Let me correct myself..Yes the tires wont move if you hold them. But you can still feel the shifting work. Sorry for the confusion

could it be that maybe the center allen screws are to tight to feel the shift?

I dont have the set screws tight enough.. for whatever reason I thought the balls needed to spin freely..

and yes I did read the manual but obviously not well enough..

Hey what do you guys do with your receivers in your receiver boxes. Do you put any sort of padding in there. Mine can almost fit in there laying down , with the wires facing up. But its wont. So its on its side , with the wires facing towards the wire opening inside the receiver box.

So the receiver can kinda jiggle around. So im thinking on placing some foam in there or something. Or have you guys done something else?

Also whats a good steering servo to get for the car. Is there a minimum requirement on it?

I want preferrably a Futaba Servo. Doesnt have to be digital or anything.

Im trying to find the perfect combo. Fast , Strong (not crazy strong but good enough and cheap.

Gotta get this thing ready before the 29th. Thats the HPI Challenge.

Im open to all suggestions.

Interesting... I hope those are the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price, $250 is absurd... No indication of output, or any other specs for that matter.

Wow! $250 for 5 port at Tower and without shipping? That's a little high... I just received yesterday this OS .12TZ 5 ports from RC Mushroom for $260 including STS outlaw inline pipe and EMS shipping.

Buy it at rc-mushroom for 200 and under. Towers price is always high when something new comes around. Itll fall when the motor comes out.
