Default WEEEEE!!!!

We'll I'm back from the run and I brought my R40 and HB bug with me. The R40 engine nut did slip a bit so I went to ran the buggy. Honestly my friends RB was running a lil rich and his clutch slipped offline a little. However once it kicked in he flat out blew me away. I did give him a good run, but guys, DEFINATELY invest into the RB Rody or the NS12s. Anything else slower won't even compare. My MT12 surely wouldn't catch any ROdy or NS engine. It was totally sick. I was like who needs 8th onroad when you have something this insane. My heatsink though is a brighter color than his and has std plug with alum heatsink. His as a turbo plug and composite carb. One thing that disappointed was when I went back to starting the R40, I had to dismantel much of the car in the lot to use threadlock on that nut and then put it back together. The other thing was the needle settings were TOTALLY OFF. I had to richen it quickly, because it was set for race ready running. I did get it to start, but the clutch may be affecting it as it revved and didnt stop. Regardless I got it started and that matters so now I'm gonna do more work on it and run it tomorrow probably.

got severalmore. My friend has the airplane starter. I may go and get that instead of the starter box. They work a lot better, because you can hit the flywheel with it and get even the toughest engines started.

Just enough clearance above the pulley! My next motor will definitely be a rear exhaust!

Great man. Glad you got it in there. Surely now you can run that engine till its shot. BTW, USE THREADLOCK! No more torquing for me. Threadlock is a must.

It's a std plug also so it won't be sensative to weather changes like a turbo plug. Another trick is to make sure the wheel is off to the side and not directly on top.
well I got one of the first batch of picco 26's that had a bunch of random producrion issues.

mine came with O-rings with the extra flashing still on and I found some metal dust inside the crankcase.

I cleaned it out with denatured alcohol and rebuilt it and I have put over 13 gallons thru it so far and it's still going strong.

I've got the newer Picco .26 . No probs with mine. BTW, the Rody will be INSANE man. I think you should probably put the MT12 off the side and get something a bit faster. It's great for bashing even. When I saw his run, I said since this is gonna be my last .12, I might as well spend $$ to rebuild stuff and so on rather than swap the MT12 in to mess with. It's a pain to do that. I guess I'll sell the MT12.

Default DRAG RACE

Although it's not shown this is how it went down. MY Picco .26 powered HB lightning with 15T CB vs my friends R40 with Rody V12 Roar legal and stock LW 2speed. Since his 2speed was a lil screwed he ran first gear the whole time. However, his ride was flat out FFASSTTTTT. Was like screw first gear, because it was insane. I beat him offline, because he was slipping a bit and still kinda sliding around, but soon his engine kicked in and flat out blew me away on late mid through top end. The picco has lots of torque, but not much top end really. I'm gonna try new diff oils to help my ride. Meanwhile, I wanna get the R40 running, because I want to experience this RB Rody madness. I'm gonna work on the R40 with all types of settings and get it running great.
